Jessica Saunders grew up on the Mornington Peninsula and has been practising law since 2011. Jessica has spent over half of her career living and working in Gippsland.
Her passion for advocacy and social justice naturally drew her to focus on the areas of child welfare and family violence law. Representing vulnerable people and providing them a voice is an important part of her work.
Jess is particularly interested in cross-sector collaboration in the area of child protection, and has been involved with the Gippsland Legal Assistance Forum (GLAF), including the child protection working group.
Jessica is a newly elected member of the GWH board. She looks forward to gaining further governance experience and furthering the interests of women in the region in her first appointment to a board.
