At Gippsland Women’s Health, we have a dedicated Projects Team that works closely with the community to drive positive change. Working alongside the Health Promotion and Prevention Team, our projects are delivered sustainably, ensuring ongoing change well into the future. Our impact and reach is further strengthened through our strong ties to the Gippsland community and our collaboration with a range of lead community organisations. We are currently working on the following projects:
Our Equal Local Government: Through partnership with Gippsland Local Governments this project aims to strengthen and support capacity and build sustainable systems to recognise, respond and prevent work-related gendered violence including sexual harassment.
Women in Energy: By addressing barriers like inflexible work arrangements and gender discrimination this project aims to increase access and advancement for women entering or currently within the energy industry.
eAware: This project aims to enhance online safety for women and girls living in rural and regional Victoria through developing digital tools and resources to combat tech-facilitated coercive control.
These projects support our continued efforts to work towards creating sustainable outcomes that improve gender equality, create opportunities and enhance wellbeing for the women and girls of Gippsland.
GWH are always looking for opportunities to support our community.
Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about partnering with us.
